WE COMMIT TO SERVE AT THE RIVER

We teach that serving God and others is a normal way of life for a Follower of Jesus Christ. This is based on our understanding of the life of Jesus and the teachings of the Scriptures.

Jesus said “Your attitude must be like my own for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28 LB

Jesus said serving others is serving Him and determines our reward in heaven. Matthew 25:34-40

The Apostle Paul wrote “…serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13b

A Fully Devoted Follower of Jesus serves God and others as a way of life. We serve those who are in our church family and those who are in our world.
