Christianity is not just about going to heaven when one dies. Growth in the Christian life is about learning to live as Jesus would live if He were us. Growth in Christlikeness is a life long project of transforming the heart, mind, and life to the heart, mind, and lifestyle of Jesus. We teach that the transformed life is one where the Believer engages in spiritual disciplines (like Bible study, obedience, community, etc) and that God the Holy Spirit then works in the person’s life to bring about transformation. It is the Believer working with God to change them and the world.
