CARS ministry

PURPOSE OF THIS MINISTRY

The purpose of the CARS ministry of Riverbluff Church is to meet transportation needs for single mothers by reconditioning donated vehicles or obtaining vehicles when necessary to meet specific needs.

In the rush of life for a single mothers, sometimes dependable transportation is the difference between unemployment and keeping a meaningful job.

HOW CAN I HELP ?

Volunteers are the key to the CARS ministry.  If you might be interested in assisting the CARS team, serving opportunities include:

· Minor auto repair including repairing brakes and changing oil

· In-depth auto repair including diagnostics, AC repair, and timing belts

· Servicing donated vehicles

· Cleaning cars

· Finding and securing parts to repair cars

· Building relationships with others through the ministry

· Donating Unwanted Vehicles (RVs, Boats, Cars, Motorcycles, etc.)

· Praying for the ministry

To request a donated car –

The request form should be completed and returned to the church office. Forms are accepted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
