Meet The Counselors
Cindy Schirle, M.Ed., LPC
Cindy has served as the Director of Discipleship Counseling Ministries at Riverbluff since 2006. She received her Master of Education Degree in Counseling at Montana State University in 1991. Cindy is passionate about helping individuals and couples experience the fullness of life that Christ intends for His followers as they work through life’s challenges. Cindy’s counseling style is direct but focused on helping people experience the fullness of the love God has for them as they explore their problems.
Nancy Huiet, M.S., LPC
Nancy joined the Riverbluff team in the Spring of 2010. She earned a Master of Science in Professional Counseling in 1997. Her background includes counseling with school aged children, as well as adults and families. She has a passion for using God’s word in all counseling with children and families to incorporate Biblical truths in each aspect of therapy. She uses play therapy, a proven therapeutic approach, with younger children to engage families in the counseling process and more traditional talk therapy with older children and teenagers to create a safe and supportive setting. Nancy has experience with topics such as self-esteem and positive decision-making. Nancy also works parents, families and individuals who seek to grow through their problems both in relationship with each other and with Christ.
Tom Lynch, M.A., LPC
Tom joined the Riverbluff Discipleship Counseling Center in 2011. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling in 1997. His background includes 14+ years of in-patient counseling in all facets of adult counseling. He has worked with all emotional issues, grief issues, communication issues, marriage counseling and addictions. He uses a reality-based approach to life’s problems through the use of God’s word and His promise “for I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. (Jer 29:11)
Gina Jones, M.Ed., LPC
Gina is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel. She is a rostered provider of Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is the current best practice for individuals who have experienced abuse. Her background includes over 12 years of clinical counseling experience helping individuals and families to address underlying issues and work through life’s circumstances. She offers a compassionate, strengths based approach with a desire to help others overcome barriers that prevent them from having a growing relationship with Christ and fellowship with others. Gina’s personal faith in Christ and understanding of God’s plan for each of us help her to apply biblical truths with proven techniques to assist people in finding God’s peace and love.
